No, but Spot and Muffy may have.
“Seinfeld and Philosophy: A Book about Everything and Nothing “
They saw the subtitle and thought the book was ‘Being and Nothingness’. Spot and Muffy read philosophy, it’s just that they don’t understand one word of it.
Here is my thought mccain picks a conservative vp that so many freepers want. the vp then says "sure, mr president I will go on the rush show and sell him you newest amnesty plan""sure mr president I will go on the rush show and tell him why we must have a gobal warming tax"

Been Busy with Edouard
The local TV stations were all up linked in the Kemah Boardwalk parking lot all night and day. Some were by the 6th street lighthouse. 13,11,2 and some foreign correspondents (Mexican Media). I talked to most of them who called me the night before and these were most unhappy pun dents. Why? Because our lives were not destroyed? Death and destruction did not ensue? No great pictures? You never heard such whining!
Edouard brought needed rain, fortunately it was a much To-Do about nothing storm...yes were open in Kemah!
I watched the storm at the Boardwalk and it was open all day. No new pictures on Kemah.Net because nothing happend thanks be to God!
Republican Party of Texas Thanks Our GOP Congressional Members for Fighting the Good Fight to Lower Gas Prices
Sends Do-Nothing Congressional House Democrats Gift Baskets With Items They May Need After Leaving Voters High and Dry
On August 1st, 2008, Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives voted to adjourn for their month-long paid vacation despite protests from Republicans and constituents from both parties to call the House back to session for a vote to overturn the moratorium on domestic drilling. While the Democrats turned off the lights, cameras and microphones and went home, House Republicans were determined in their efforts to deal with the problem of rising energy costs and stood their ground. The Republican Party of Texas is sending gift baskets to 11 of the most liberal members of Congress from Texas including Al Green (D-Houston ), Gene Green (D-Houston), Hinojosa (D-Mercedes), Jackson-Lee (D-Houston), Johnson (D-Dallas), Ortiz (D-Corpus Christi), Reyes (D-El Paso), Rodriguez (D-San Antonio), Cuellar (D-Laredo), Doggett (D-Austin), Edwards (D-Waco), and Gonzalez (D-San Antonio) with items they may need on their taxpayer funded vacation.
The Republican Party of Texas would like to offer these “gift baskets” to our liberal Democratic U.S. House members who ignored the needs of Texas voters, putting Pelosi- style politics in front of real solutions. They can utilize these gifts during their 5-week vacation to look for ways to solve our gas and energy crisis since they were in such a hurry to shut-down Congress on August 1st. We cant afford for the Democrats to continue blocking solutions to Americas most troubling issue - energy, said Hans Klingler Texas GOP Spokesman.
A group of House Republicans again took to the floor on Monday to protest the decision by House Democrats to adjourn without voting on a bill to combat the energy crisis. This could lead to a September shutdown of government since the moratorium on offshore drilling is up September 30th. Once again Do-Nothing Democrats have pump-jacked the opportunity for Americans to see any relief at the pump.
Nancy Pelosi and her economy-challenged band of merry people have again disregarded the needs of the hard working taxpayers in favor of escaping for white wine sipping in the Hamptons and Marthas Vineyard. The majority of Americans approve of offshore drilling and if the Democrats want to play political games and go on vacation instead of focusing on fixing Americas problems then we are going to let them know their actions will have consequences come November, said GOP Spokesman Hans Klingler.
List of gift basket contents:
A tire pressure gauge: Also known as the Obama Energy Plan.
Pinwheels: Democrats can finally harness the power of their hot air and put it to good use.
Bucket and shovel: While the Democrats are vacationing on the beach for five weeks, they can begin exploring for oil.
Magic wand: How else is a Democrat-majority Congress going to pass sensible energy legislation?
Five dollar gas card: By the time the Democrats come home from vacation, they may need this to pay for one gallon of gas.
Sun glasses: Just in case the Democrats run on solar power, they will be able to work from the pool.
Send some of the rain up Colorado way. We are pretty dry!
Not surprising that the lamestream media is dis-appointed that there was no hurricane.
