Here is my thought mccain picks a conservative vp that so many freepers want. the vp then says "sure, mr president I will go on the rush show and sell him you newest amnesty plan""sure mr president I will go on the rush show and tell him why we must have a gobal warming tax"

And Rush will tell us all how it's a conservative thing to do. We want to conserve energy don't we? Well, that's conservative! In truth, it's about conserving liberal principles, to paraphrase Gunnar Myrdal.
