Sorry

AP story here---

Tropical Storm Edouard slacked off and seems unlikely to impact on oil and gas operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
So oil speculators suffered as oil headed south

It’s from the vacuum leak in Nanci Pelosi’s head.

Don’t be too sure. With Congress out for 5 more weeks and no clear direction on domestic drilling or any in the near future for that matter, the onset of fall and winter will make that a real issue.

Down is more than likely temporary.

That is great news! I’m hoping it drops below #120. The next level would be $110. Once it breaks $100, I think a psychological factor will kick in once traders understand there may not be a floor. A little downside panic among oil traders, as in the last rats off the ship goe down with it, wouldn’t hurt.

Expect gas prices to drop anyway. There are several key refineries that were down for mods. Domestic distillates were down to 87% when they typically run over 95% this time of year.

It would be nice to see how much oil would drop if Congress would vote on off-shore drilling. Queen Pelosi, however, doesn’t appear willing to do her job.

DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW

AND COMBINE THAT WITH MAKING, BUYING, AND DRIVING FLEX FUEL VEHICLES!

Anne Korin, Co-Director for the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security spoke at a Young American Foundation, National Conservative Students Conference this morning. She spoke about the combo as the only way...NOT drilling only. She said it is a very real situation that we drill more, they drill less = same amount of oil.

I believe that we need to send the message that IT'S NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL (We're gettin' our own darn oil!!!)....AND....COMBINE THAT AS SHE POINTS OUT, WITH FLEX-FUEL VEHICLES, OR WE'VE LOST THE BATTLE.

We need vehicles which offer us choices, to keep the playing field "honest." (my words) Competition is the only option, and when you have basically a drug cartel in the oil industry, you cannot escape its hold, UNLESS YOU CREATE VEHICLES...WHICH THEY ARE MAKING RIGHT NOW FOR BRAZIL...THAT ARE FLEX-FUEL (use whatever is the cheapest commodity at the time) VEHICLES!!!!!

COME ON CONGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This may not have much influence at all, but I was wondering what the effect the Olympics may have on the price of oil...Once all of the athletes and spectators leave after the Olympics, there has to be a tremendous amount of pressure relieved internally from China that may further drop the price of oil...
