Maybe French Subtitles Would Help

John Kerry appeared on Meet the Press this morning opposite Joe Lieberman. Among the topics discussed was this campaign's latest TV ad, Celeb. The script for the ad reads: ANNCR: He’s the biggest celebrity in the world. But, is he ready to lead?

With gas prices soaring, Barack Obama says no to offshore drilling. And, says he’ll raise taxes on electricity. Higher taxes, more foreign oil, that’s the real Obama. Can John Kerry go on national television and pontificate about it an ad he didn't watch? Yes he can!

Here in the Michigan 7th, our first-term ultra-conservative Rep Tim Walberg is probably gonna face our local state senator next fall.

I’m thinking all we have to do is to get the Dem to defend the pronouncements of the Dem leadership, and the game will be over. We’ll simply ask about tax increases, restrictions on new drilling even when gasoline hits $10 per gallon, and repeal of the Defense of Marriage act, to name a few.

I hope Walberg wins. How is he looking?

Well, if he can paint all the U.S. Soldiers fighting in the Middle East as stupid... why not?

“I hope Walberg wins. How is he looking?”

A slim lead I think. However, Schauer was forced to be Gov Granholm’s water boy in the 2007 budget fiasco, which then yielded the largest tax increase in state history. He’s also breaking a pledge to serve his entire state senate term in order to run. And, Mark has the need to be loved — which was okay if he wants his constituents to love him, but bad since Mark wanted the Dem leadership to love him.

The thing to do is for Kerry to take Obama wind surfing off Nantucket or West Palm Beach. They could chow down to some Arugula and Kiwi Wheatgrass Tea afterwards while discussing Professor Richard Hofstadter's dismissal of bitter, lower-middle-class "pseudo-conservatives" who cling to guns and religion in small towns.

Kerry: “It never mentions “not ready to lead”.

Lieberman: “Yes it does.”

Pricless.

I just had a bumper sticker made up to catch the eyes of all these loons here in Atlanta with Obama ‘08 stickers.

It’s a picture of a well done cross with “bitter clinger” in bold letters next to it.

I can hardly wait to see the blank stares because it’s not like they have the slightest idea he made those comments to the SF crowd, the drive-bys simply won’t tell them!
