I am not kidding myself about it, believe me. Every now and then, one of them just comes out and says it.
I talked to a Republican running for State Representative in my state yesterday. She told me she told someone she met that she was a Republican. The guy told her “I think ALL Republicans should be in jail”. I told the candidate that that’s the way they ALL think, and that if they ever total control, they’ll send us all off to jail or concentration camps or whatever. I also emphasized to her that “Hey - I’m NOT nuts. Go to Democratic Underground or Daily Kos if you think I’m delusional.” Hopefully she follows that advice.
