The best part is the look on Linda's face! She is with the Lord now and I pray that her family will find comfort in that knowledge.
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9
Godspeed, Linda.
So much was accomplished.
Thanks, drc. We all rocked!
Still have my Sore Loserman sign in the garage! LOL
Was talking to some folks just the other day (they've not really seen/read FR in any depth)--they saw the SL sign in my garage and said their favorite thing to come out of that debacle was, "Get out of Cheney's house!" and I got to tell them that Kristinn and I were the very first to yell that chant at the Veep's manse. The slogan was a collaborative effort between Kristinn and myself.
Many memories with a great bunch of people who love their country.
Whether anyone care to acknowledge it or not, Free Republic and you and the Class of 98 changed history. Not a part of it, but by golly, CHANGED it.
No wonder they want to silence us. So good to see you post again. Hope you come back more often.
Prayers lifted.
One day every tear will be wiped away.
Bump for the evening folks who haven’t seen this yet.
Dang. I’ll miss Linda’s posts. God be with her and her family.
Thanks, babe.
I am very saddened to read this news. I have enjoyed her posts for a decade. She was one of the best freepers. May God bless her soul and comfort her family.
One memory coming back is when I was eating lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant (with my Walkman radio on) and hearing you come on Rush's show for, gosh, what seemed like 20 minutes and, IIRC, promoting the March for Justice.
Speaking of old times....remember folks....please close your Italians!
Linda’s obituary can be found here http://www.mayeswarddobbins.com/

There is a guestbook where you can leave messages for the family.
A wonderful resident of FReeRepublic for so many year’s. She graced this place with knowledge and hope. God Bless the family and give them the comfort knowing she was loved.
You’ll be in my prayers tonight, Y.
Thanks for the link, Suzanne. Done.
YRC!
Remember the funniest thread ever? When basil was trying to figure out if she was logged in?
Thank you.
Oh no............ My prayers for her and her family. She will be missed.
Very well said.
You said it.
I know that handle from the way-back days. God bless her soul....
