Is Kelsey Grammar really a Republican?
Hard to tell, since he chose to be in "Swing Vote" and portray Republicans as anti-Semites and White men as rednecks, idiots, and incompetent fathers.
You know when a movie about a Presidential election begins with an anti-Semitic Republican President scheming on how to keep Jews away from the polls, it's not going to be even-handed or good. Or funny.
You also know that when the star of a movie--Kevin Costner--is forced to invest $20 million of his own money in an August movie release in order to get it on-screen, it's not a good flick.
At the beginning of this overly dramatic silver-screen annoyance, it's election day, and we see Republican President Kelsey Grammar with his evil, scheming political advisor in the Oval Office. While Grammar listens, the advisor (Stanley Tucci) tells the Republican Party of Florida to round up as many tall, blonde, Arian-looking guys they can and send them to the West Palm Beach polling places to keep Jews from voting.
Apparently, Kelsey Grammar didn't have a problem portraying the GOP as a party of anti-Semites. And it's downhill from there.

Thanks for the heads up - but why is the Left jumping up and down stating this is Republican propaganda if the review is accurate?
I saw chris matthews in the trailer, that was enough for me...
Go see Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D. We had a ball and the special effects are like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The kids will love it too.
All you need to know about Kelsey Grammar. And I won’t even start about Kevin Costner. This is a different era in Hollyweird that produces nothing but garbage in film and ‘talent’.
We saw the ad on Tv the ohter night and we both thought how sad that such crap gets any screen time. But then it is not much worse then 4/5 of the other pieces of crap that get made and go to the big screen.
$20 million of his own money? I would bet he loses it all....
I didn’t plan on seeing this anyway. I don’t think anyone else did either. I saw a trailer for this about a month ago. I wouldn’t even bother downloading this from The Pirate Bay.
What on earth did people expect from such a film? Of course Hollywood is going to portray GOP types in the vein they did - Hollywood types are scum-sucking, communist sodomites.
4/5ths? I'd say more like 39/40ths.
I agree...”Journey to the Center of the Earth” WAS a great family film. I LOVED the 3-D! (And so did the kids.)
Regards,
Kevin Costner—is forced to invest $20 million of his own money ......................... If it isn’t a western he best keep it in the bank.
I’ve liked a number of the movies that Kevin Costner has made. Given this review, I hope he and a whole lot of his fellow investors lose their shirts on this one.
The trailer looks boring ... and frightening (the apathetic “swing” elections).
Who’d want to be reminded of THAT — for 2 hours!?
Waterworld grossed over $300 million worldwide.
Sounds like the same liberal retards that brought us predictable stereotypical anti-republican crap like The West Wing and An American President.
Every republican is portrayed as some grey haired dark suit wearing race hating bigot power monger who every day obsesses about spying on people and wanting to go to war.
I’m sure there is at least one scene where the republicans all meet and they are sitting in highback leather chairs and smoking cigars discussing how they are going to stick it to the poor and minorities.
Hm anti-Semetism...being fresh out of college (and a very ivory tower / left-leaning one at that), I have to ask...
- What party do the rabid anti-Israel types belong to?
- What party do the pro-UN (aka, sit around all day condemning the Joos for war crimes while ignoring countries actually committing genocide) types belong to?
- What party’s goals align most closely with the various versions of National Socialist Worker’s Parties throughout history?
(and before someone invokes Godwin’s law, I’m not talking about just Germany but just about every European nation...funny how omnipotent government and lack of individual rights continually results in oppression of minority groups without fail)
