“I have a lot of problems with the “religion of peace”, but I’m pretty sure this guy was not following their teachings when he did this.”

I don’t know. Their peaceful book talks of Muhammad’s revelation from allah that it’s justifiable for muslims to take the women of their enemies caught in battle and use them as sex slaves. Where was allah for those women? I guess their allah doesn’t care much for women. Since Muhammad married a 6 year old girl, we know what his age parameters were for what a woman is.

Interesting point. OK, I will grant that, presuming the fellow was Muslim, and the child was one of us infidels in a nation that hasn't submitted (yet), it might be permissible per their false prophets teachings if you consider her captured in some kind of undeclared war. But, I'm not sure I want to bother with the distinction, there is no shortage of more obvious cases to make against the "religion of peace".

If we include emotionally charged but less than air tight criticisms in the public debate, it yields to our enemies the undeserved opportunity to paint all our criticisms as irrational prejudice.
