We have a “plan?” What exactly is that plan? Has anyone from our side offered comprehensive legislation? I’m listening.

Comprehensive is a liberal term. Republicans simply want to lift the ban on drilling and exploration, that is the plan and none other is needed.

Im listening. our plan was shot down when bush took office - by the democrats - remember when they complained that cheney met with oil execs (who actually produce something we need and make a profit - profit that democrats think is evil) instead of hairdressers, avon salespeople and fannie mae execs (that cooked the books to get big bonuses and left us with the bill - clintonistas)

You’d have to ask the House Repubs what their plan is. They just said this afternoon that they have one.

Has anyone from our side offered comprehensive legislation? Im listening. It doesn't have to be "comprehensive." Even the federal budget (monstrosity that it is) is passed in discrete pieces. There is absolutely no reason we should not have a standalone offshore drilling bill - except for the opposition of the Democrat party....
