CSPAN has shut down coverage of the House. The lights have been turned out.
House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

I’m not in D.C., but has anyone suggested a rally of citizens outside the Capitol, on the House side? A support rally which goes as long as the house members do.

I’m a huge fan of Brian Lamb but he is a tabula rasa (blank slate) and you will NEVER find a partisan sentiment in him, one way or the other.
Example: staffers are not allowed to discuss politics in the C-SPAN offices.
Which shows you exactly what our country will be like under the socialist reign of any democrat. We are merely the masses who are to be drained of funds fed into government coffers and distributed to programs/perks/pork/fraud as the government officials see fit.
