I love the name of this book. Easily become Abomination. I would be very surprised if the suggested double entendre is not intentional.
There is no doubt...if you ever get the opportunity to speak with an author at a book signing, ask him how much deliberate effort goes into the selection of a book title. Publishers know that even brilliant writers with a masterful command of their subject matter are not professional marketers, and frequently it's the title and cover that sell a book.
