Rappers' Shout-Outs Make Obama Skip a Beat

In the arsenal of the culture wars, rap music remains somewhat radioactive -- and Barack Obama now finds himself exposed.

Avowed Obama supporter Ludacris on Wednesday released a freewheeling song called "Politics" in which he repeatedly praised the candidate -- as well as himself, for having found a home on the senator's iPod. But the Atlanta rapper also used a derogatory term to describe Hillary Clinton; asserted that John McCain should be in a wheelchair, not the White House; and declared that President Bush "is mentally handicapped."

This is not the Ludacris that Barack Obama knows.

RUSH: Obama didn't say anything! As usual, Obama hasn't condemned anything. Bill Burton did! By the way, it may have happened, but I haven't heard Obama condemn all those rap lyrics that often. Have you heard him condemn rap lyrics? Now, I don't read People, and I don't read US Weekly, and I don't watch E! Entertainment Weekly or whatever these 6:30, 7:30 p.m. little mindless entertainment shows are. So, you know, when the Obama family was exposed on television, he may have said he didn't like rap lyrics. He may have said it in his book. I haven't read the books. But I haven't heard him making these statements. He may have said it at the NAACP convention. I haven't heard it. All I know is Obama did not condemn this, Bill Burton did. Obama met with Ludacris in 2006, in November of 2006 to discuss things, and then in Obama Chicago office. They discussed things. They had many important things to discuss. Ludacris' political activism and some programs, typical mindless pap charities. Yeah, well, you add this guy with Jeremiah Wright and you add this guy in with Bill Ayers, and the next time Obama does speak about this, he'll say, "This is not the Ludacris I knew."

Ludacris Attacks Hillary, McCain

This is the nasty undercurrent that Obama swims in away from the glare of the MSM's lights. This is where the MSM edits reality to show us the raceless, sexless, "cool" Obama.

This is the change you've been waiting for?

I can't understand how this lunatic can get away with his veiled threat to McCain. The line about him "in a wheel chair" is a clear reference to the assassination attempt of another white politician: Gov. George Wallace.

This is a hate crime, a threat against a U.S. Senator and a U.S. presidential candidate. Mr. Ludacris should be charged with inciting violence against Sen. McCain.

The "song" is a declaration of black superiority over whites. Lissten to it entirely.

If this isn't hate speech, I don't know what is.
