I have a friend in London, very Euro in outlook, who is terrifically frustrated and worried about the election.

His chief concern: the role of Americans. “It’s a pity that Americans are the ones who elect the president,” he says. “It would be much better if the people of the world voted on the American president.”

How much you want to bet Obambi will (if elected) get snugly with the UN and lay groundwork for just such?

None, because that is a very real possibility, and it is just as much so if the beast, or any RAT gets in for that matter.

While it is a direct violation of the constitution they all swear to uphold when they take office, what's to stop them from amending the constitution once they do take office?

And here you have the reason why international elites don't like the US. It must be frustrating to be an opinion shaper in, say, France, and have to live with the thought that the most junior Congressman in the US has more impact on world affairs than you do
