Why must it be outside the bible?
Do you wish to exclude any other historical texts that won’t line up with your preconceived, irrational conclusions?

There is no reason to exclude a reliable collection of historical texts, especially when it was written by eyewitnesses (more than one writer) during the time of OTHER eyewitnesses who could have refuted it.

Because mythologies do not constitute evidence. Does Isis exist just because Egyptian holy books say so?

The earliest non-Christian testimony to the Lord’s existence is that of the Jewish historian, Flavius Josephus (A.D. 37-100). In Antiquities of the Jews, the historian twice referred to Jesus. In one passage he called Jesus “the Christ,” referred to His “marvelous deeds,” and alluded to His death and resurrection (18.3.3). Though some would dispute the genuineness of much of this reference, suggesting that it was embellished by an over-zealous Christian scribe, the passage, as it stands in all standard texts, can be defended (Jackson, 1991, pp. 29-30). In another place, Josephus commented on the trial of James, and identified Him as “the brother of Jesus, the so-called Christ” (20.9.1).

There is more but Mr. B's earlier point is a good one. Why "apart from the bible?"

That's like saying "apart from the pre-constitutional writings of the founding fathers, the Declaration of Independance or Constitution" what evidence do you have for the American Republic?

You know the answer, I am sure. The real problem these closet liberals have is a hatred for any moral authority. Thus they are at war against God.

The only moral truth for these materialistic liberals (posing as anything else on FR) is the selfish baloney they make up in their head. For their own head is really all their is and the very center of their meaningless, directionless, psychotic universe.
