they get all the intel as it pertains to floor plan, how many people might be inside, what they are looking for and where it might be.
but if has gotten to the point of a raid, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that the intel is solid. so the entry team just wants the facts of the raid. they do not care how the intel was received. probable cause is the job of the investigators and all too often, they take the word of drug abusing crackheads who would give up their mother to avoid felony charges.
so they tell the cops what the cops want to hear and there is little follow-up. but this kind of thing is the exception. that is why we read about it in the papers. there are hundreds of raids executed hourly around the country that produce excellent results.

In other words, particularly given that it is well known that police often lack reasonable basis for their warrants, the teams routinely raid houses without a reasonably-held belief in the legitimacy of their actions.
