I am a military veteran, a Christian, and a lifelong Republican. I was wounded in uniform, clearly recognizeable as a US solider, and had my life saved by a Muslim family who could have let me die with no harm to themselves. They went out of there way to save me simply because they were decent human beings. I call Bull$hit.
Where was the rest of your unit, that left you behind to be cared for by a local family? What unit would leave a wounded comrade behind, unless there were no survivors?
