This is nothing but a headline, suspiciously timed.
Normally we’d see something about favors to HIRE a relative, not fire one of ‘em. I’m sure it’ll back fire on the the legislature, but they don’t care, they got their headliine when she’s being considered for VP.
The ex-BIL sounds like a creep who has no business with a gun and badge.

Bait and switch, but in this case it appears that is nothing there. And if her former BIL is as much of a SOB as she says, she was trying to avoid some poor citizen from receiving his wrath.
I agree. If you read the article, her concern about the ex-brother in law was substantiated. Although the most serious charges against him were thrown out, he was ultimately suspended for five days.
This is sour grapes from a Department of Public Safety Commissioner that she fired in July. He is now throwing mud at her and hoping that some of it will stick.
