Obama Campaign says Ludacris song "Outrageously Offensive"
cbn.com ^ | July 30, 2008 | David Brody

Obama and LudacrisHave you heard the latest song by the rapper Ludacris? The song IS Ludicrous. Listen to it here.  The song attacks Hillary Clinton, George Bush and John McCain.

Here's one line from the song:
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed.

Then Ludacris said this about Obama:
With a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers.

You see Obama and Ludacris have a relationship.

They have teamed up on AIDS awareness before and have held at least one private meeting together. Read more here. He has also said how he has some of Ludacris's songs in his ipod. Read more here.

I am not going to define what their relationship is like. Only Obama can do that but with a song like this heard by millions of young people around the country doesn't Obama have an obligation to speak out against it? Obama has talked about the need for rappers to clean up their act. Not only is this song offensive, but it cheers for an Obama victory. It begs for a comment from Obama himself.

UPDATE: Barack Obama's campaign spokesman Bill Burton sends this statement to The Brody File

“As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to.  This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear.  While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."

I hope McCain’s people are making an ad featuring this song along with the image of Ludicras and the messiah standing beside each other (I also hope they mention Obambi’s previous boast that he has a lot of Ludicras on his I Pod). I don’t think women and blue collar workers will particularly like this song. Thanks Ludicras.

Ludacris came into a friend’s dad’s car dealership to buy a new Escalade. He came home and told my friend “I sold a car to some rapper named , uh, Ridiculous?” She said, “Dad, do you mean Ludacris?”

We laughed so hard I almost peed.

The fact he believes this hack is talented pretty much shows you where his ability to judge is at.

They're kidding, right? This is NOTHING compared to some of the lyrics from his other "songs." I won't even post a link to some of his lyrics here for fear of getting banned. Do they really think none of us knew anything about Ludacris until Obambi told the world he had him on his ipod?

As to the Obama campaign’s statement, he doesn’t mean a word of it. Just like he didn’t mean it when he threw Reverend Wright under the bus.

While under the bus, I suspect Ludacris will try to rape Obama’s grandmother.

Yes, he should be. It doesn't rhyme very well at all.

This is all about race, folks.

lol...yup. Funny how B-HO gets offended only after taking his cue from others. The reality, of course, is that he loves both J-Wright’s anti-American racist rants and Ludicris’ degrading lyrics.

Seems to me that John McCain doesn’t really need to do too much to derail Obamasiah’s campaign. Obamasiah is doing the damage nearly all on his own with the associations with morons like ludacris et al.

If this gets too hot just expect Barry to come out with "This is not the Ludacris I knew..."

Does the Obama Campaign really think we’re going to believe this BS? The kids who adulate Obama have been listening to this rap stuff for years.
