I have read where there have been study groups working out the myriad of technicalities that need to be smoothed out during the meeting of the three nation’s leaders over the last five years or so.
You didn’t used to have these large work groups, but about five years ago the numbers of staff members ballooned to tackle this project. They aren’t planning on abandoning this effort. You can take that to the bank.

Sure, ease up on the border issue for a while, but press down on the Amero, or any one of a hundred other issues that must be initiated or finalized as the NAU starts shaping up and taking form.
