I understand the entire innocent until proven guilty thing but when everyone knows who did it is there any reason why he is called a “suspect”. There is no suspicion about it, the only question is what is the punishment.

He maybe guilty of the action but there have been many cases were people did things only to save their families that were being held hostage.
Everything must be considered before the verdict is read.
