I have a person that would make me EAGERLY vote for McCain:

Eric Cantor -— actual conservative Republican -— from Virginia -— a swing state.

And he happens to be Jewish.

Given Obama’s weakness on Israel, THIS is the election to take back the Jewish vote.

Risky. The announcement at the convention would be, “Eric Cantor!!” The crow would hoot, “Whoo-hoo!!” The following comments in the pressbox would be, “Eric who?”

Virgina might be a swing state, but Cantor is from an extremely safe, ultra Republican district within Virginia. His district is going to vote Republican by lopsided margins whether he's on the ticket or not.

Virgil Goode or Randy Forbes would be better known conservative Virginia congressman, and from more competative districts to boot.
