Depending on the economy Schundler might well be falling into a career ending trap if he wins.
Almost every major residential and commerical real estate project in JC has been put on hold until the financial markets shake out the dead weight.
The entire states of NJ and NY is barely creating new jobs, JC won’t be lassoing in transplant jobs from Manhattan this time, and the new Meadowlands business park will undercut the low end office jobs creation engine.
Then he is needed all the more so. Can we stop this ‘pass the baton’ crap now? Leadership must be prepared to carry a cross and go all the way if necessary.
The Meadowlands Business Park will bomb as badly as the “Xanadu” mall, IMHO.
