Barack Obama returns to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to speak with House Democrats, and Republicans will try to spoil the party by linking the Democrats presidential nominee to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and their reluctance to allow votes on offshore oil drilling.
Rep. Adam Putnam (R-Fla.) and Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) will greet Obamas arrival with a news conference in which theyll assert that Reid (D-Nev.) and Pelosi (D-Calif.) are holding up votes on offshore drilling in order to protect Obama.
Theyll also begin to use Pelosi-Reid-Obama in the all-in-the-same-breath way that Democrats now use Bush-McCain to make the parties popular candidates indistinguishable from their less beloved incumbents.

Thank you so much FRiend :)
Its about time. I’ve said all along that among all of the many drawbacks of a possible Obama presidency, the fact that he will ultimately just be signing off on the Pelosi-Reid agenda as it comes through Congress is perhaps the biggest reason of all to vote against him.
No problem. There just ain't nuthin' funner than blastin' liberals with the truth! It kills 'em...hehehe
Nancy Pelosi: worst speaker of the house in history
She is a hack for environmental whacko groups. They got her elected to hamstring everything. She’s a terrible person. A good percentage of democrats in the house now want drilling so she won’t even allow debate on it chancing that it might pass.
Jeez - about time! They need to rail against the left on drilling eight days a week - 28 hours a day!
Assert? ASSERT!!??? How about make a statement of public fact?
I’ve met Adam Putnam while I was working on the Social Security private accounts issue. He is one of the true rising stars of the party. He is the type of younger conservative we need. Don’t take one word so literally, at least we are going in the right direction!
I'm not necessarily stoning the messenger as I am the subjects of the message. Reid and Pelosi have done nothing BUT obstruct their respective house of Congress to prevent the will of the people from either being heard or enacted. When the liberals talk about partisan politics and obstructionism, I hope they are taking a looooooonnnnnngggggg hard look at how their own party has conducted business when they are in control (I KNOW they haven't - just wishful thinking). More to the point, liberal's noses need to be rubbed in the fact that, under Dem control, the Congress has been less than useless and earned the lowest approval rating of ANY Congress in decades - including when the 'Pubbies ran the show!
