Perhaps I’m making a pretty wild suggestion...but you know...I think I’d extend a 30-minute reservation for Jon to speak at the Republican National Convention. I think this guy could probably bring folks up on a standing ovation for six or seven times.

Perhaps I’m thinking on the wild side...but this article impressed me...he is right on so many points. So much of the early 1970s Democratic support came off radical 60’s and their front-line speakers. “Change” was a huge sales item within their speeches. By the late 70’s....the steam was gone from this period. I think Jon Voight ought to speak...and give us a moment of inspiration...we need it.
