When I was a boy I got in a fight with another kid about twice my size. Who knows why, but he would have pummeled me if I didn’t fight back. I was doing just fine. My older brother came running towards us. I thought, “Oh good, now we can wipe this kid up.”
My brother came up behind me and pinned my arms behind my back because he didn’t think it was right that I was fighting. The other kid marched right up to me and punched me square on the jaw.
My brother is now a liberal Democrat against the WOT.
You know, you just articulated the current liberal congress
perfectly; to hold America’s hands pinned back so that our enemies can sock us in the jaw economically and militarily because what we are as an nation “isn’t right”!
During the Second Battle of Fallujah in November, 2004 I remember hearing an interview with one of the American ground commanders who was calling a temporary halt to operations in his sector beacause there has been an "unacceptably high" incidence of casualties among women and children. We stopped because we are a decent, good people.
On 9/11/01 the islamists stopped their action for one reason only: they ran out of airplanes.
Liberals fail to recognize this very simple fact. The reason the 9/11 fatalities numbered "only" 3,000 is not due to a surgical strike by al-quaeda, or because Osama called a halt when he'd seen that too many women and children were dying; it was limited to 3,000 because of the courage of FDNY firefighters who gave their lives to evacuate the towers, and the selfless sacrifice of the heroes of Flight 93 who prevented a wholesale slaughter in DC. The "limited" casualties of 9/11 were simply, solely and exclusively the result of exhausted means to kill more. Had Osama possesed the capability of killing 30,000 or 300,000 or every last of 300 million Americans, rest assured he would have done so, and at no point would he have issued the order to, "call back the planes, there's been enough killing today." The islamist ilk has no threshold for the death of innocents...indeed they believe that all infidels are guilty and must either convert or die.
The American public had best understand this mindset before the wahabis reconsolidate and gather the means to kill 300 million Americans, because once they do, they will not hesitate to pull the trigger.
You may have changed his whole outlook on life. Another thing, if dad found out he held my arms, dad would have kicked his a$$ also. Then mom would have kicked his A$$. We handled our family issues a little differently than yours apparently.
Holy crap. If my brother did that to me he’d be kicked to pieces by the rest of the family.
