Notice the article did not put a percentage to the proportion of those surveyed who thought it was acceptable to kill in the name of religion (Of course the Koran states that it is acceptable.).
The article said "nearly" one third. That is a measure of orthodoxy in that Muslim community, but the fact is that a Muslim can be Orthodox whenever that Muslim becomes angry or disillusioned.
Muslims can and DO "flip" just like that.
So the safest position is to treat ALL professed Muslims AS IF they were genocidal killers until their conduct OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME proves otherwise, case by case.
