It's a wild goose chase and a red herring engineered by the Obama camp to occupy the right-wing bloggers. It's effective in two ways. First, Obama’s opponents will waste a great deal of time and resources. Second, at some point Obama’s people will reveal the true birth certificate, making all the people who spent a great deal of time on it look stupid and paranoid.
