Bush has held power for almost 8 years now. Lets us know when he finds and kills this guy. Hopefully, itll be before Laden dies of old age. The time to strike an enemy is before, not after, he has hunkered down. Clinton had the opportunity to do that and he squandered it.
When Franklin Roosevelt died, Hitler was still still alive and kicking.
If Hitler had not invaded the Soviet Union and had stayed on friendly terms with Stalin, Hitler might have died of old age in 1978 in a retirement dacha in the Soviet Union long after after Germany surrendered to the U.S. following Truman's threats to give Germany the Nagasaki treatment.
Dateline: 23 February 1983, Somewhere in the Soviet Urals - Former German dictator Adolf Hitler died of natural causes last Tuesday at the age of 94 on his estate where he has lived with his wife, Eva Braun, since 1945, the Soviet Information Ministry announced today. Hitler's transfer of German missile technology to the USSR on the eve of his defeat by the Allies ensured him a warm welcome by the Soviets and a luxurious retirement that he has fully enjoyed for the past 38 years.

Yeah... This story will be found on page 99 in most papers.
Clinton was busy with more important matters... I think it had something to do with a cigar and 20 year old hussy in a blue dress.

Exactly, this the legacy of one of the most insignificant Presidents in US history, the shameless one, William Jefferson Clinton.

Huge difference. Bin Laden has been hiding for 8 years now and we never stopped looking for him to kill him. During Bill Clinton insignificant Presidency Bin Laden was not hiding, he was in the open giving interiews and he was much easier to kill or capture. In fact the Sudanese offered him twice to Bill Clinton and the insignificant President said NO.

None of this WILL EVER COME OUT.
THE REAL DEAL:
Berger, , let bin Laden go
both from the Sudanese and when he was briefly vulnerable to missile attack.
[e.g. US News & World Report, Paul Bedard, 15 Mar 2003]
CODE-level thief and DOJ-accepted-document-destroyer Sandy Berger,
to please Hillary, personally allowed bin Laden and his top lieutenants to escape to Afghanistan.
NewsMax, "Aide: Clinton Unleashed bin Laden", Chuck Noe
Berger repeatedly rebuffed Sudanese offers to hand Osama bin Laden
to the United States in a deal brokered by a $900,000 contributor to Democrat campaigns.

Berger was singled-out by UN Inspector Scott Ritter for the collapse of UN inspections efforts in Iraq].

Berger admitted that the Clinton Administration failed to develop a war plan to fight al Qaeda

He was a millionaire lawyer and lobbyist with a career centered on expanding trade with China.

Berger was the "go-to" man regarding China policy
when Communist Chinese money was being funneled into Democrat Party coffers
in exchange for policy concessions, strategic nuclear technology,
and all pending patent applications at the US Patent Office.
The Hill, "Fundraiser resurfaces from 1996", Sam Dealey
Sandy (able to steal anything) Berger stonewalled the Energy Department
about Chinese spying in Los Alamos for three years.

Berger purloined all draft revisions of a key critique of the government's response
to the millennium terrorism threat, a document that detailed Administration knowledge
and inaction regarding al Qaeda presence in the U.S. in 1999
and 2000. Stolen were crucial notes in the margins of these drafts
which reveal the thinking and agendas of the
Clinton Administration relating to the mounting terrorist threat.

The New Yorker, per http://www.nationalreview.com/lowry/lowry200311030753.asp
Dick Morris noted Berger seemed to work overtime
at opposing tough measures against terror,
advising vetoes of legislation aimed at crippling Iranian terror funding
and working to block antiterror sanctions.
Wall Street Journal, "While Clinton Fiddled", Dick Morris, http://www.opinionjournal.com/forms/printThis.html?id=95001824
***** BUT TO BE FAIR, THE CLINTONOIDS WERE FOCUSING ON SOMETHING
THEY THOUGHT IMPORTANT:
"I was summoned to the office of National Security adviser Sandy Berger,
who chewed me out for not having a national security adviser (on the West Wing).
So I opened the next season with Anna Deavere Smith as the national security adviser" -

The msm will squash this story. Perhaps, but if no one tells them who was president in 1996, the story might slip through.

Clinton is no longer president. Just as LBJ is no longer president. That was long ago. Get over it and move on.
You seem to be suggesting that there have been no mistakes in attempts to capture this guy since Clinton held power. If this is your position, I don't think that is entirely true.

I would be happy to pay the expenses for any armchair general, be it Hillary Clinton, etc., to go over there and prove how easy it is it find Bin Laden.Hope you have some substantial resources,....cause this forum is full of such folks,....
To: dragnet2
No I am not going to move along. Clinton was a coward for not get Bin Laden when it was much easier to do back then. President Bush and our brave troops are trying to get him since 9/11/2001. It is not easy to find someone hiding in a backward tribal region very faithful to him and has size of California. In the meanwhile we have destroyed Al Qaeda in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have killed and captured the vast majority of Al Qaeda leaders.
