Free coffee from Savannah-area Starbucks reaches troops in Iraq, Afghanistan

Savannah area Starbucks employees and customers have donated over a ton of coffee to the troops over the past two years, and the troops really appreciate it.

I was in Sam’s Club today and noticed a new brand of coffee (beans). It’s called Patriot Blend by the Newhall Coffee Roasting Company out of California. The package says “Your purchase sends free coffee to the United States Armed Forces.” Haven’t tried a cup yet but I hope Sam’s keeps stocking it and I’ll keep buying it.
