Very nice. Obama blows off his visit to wounded soldiers once he realizes there's no photo op involved. Then his campaign lies about it, saying the the Pentagon cancelled. The Pentagon responds that the decision was made by the campaign, not by them. The Obama campaign and its media affiliates float bogus tales implicating McCain by way of trying to change the focus of the story.
Obama's innate contempt for the military and for the truth are on full display here - at least for anyone who follows the blogs...

These guys are sweating.
My guess is they cancelled because Gen. Gration was not allowed to accompany Obama to visit the wounded and would be stuck at the passenger lounge at Ramstein with the rest of the campaign staff and press.
He pitched a fit and Obama thought he could get away with canceling to assuage Gen. Gration's ego because the stop hadn't been announced to the press yet.
