Pray for W and Our Troops
I doubt that this will become one of the enduring images of the campaign, as the New Yorker cover will and has, but there are areas of America where I cannot imagine that this poster will help him. Southeast Florida, from Palm Beach down to Miami, for example. Areas of NYC as well.
It is a little too, well, derivative. Reminiscent of certain German posters from the 1930s. So much so as to be uncomfortable for some.
The one I heard today was:
Obama, “Ich bin ein beginner.”
Or did he say:
Ein Volk
Ein Reich
Ein Obama.....
Ich bin ein beginner ..
Yup.

I was so “embarrassed” today when this meatball went to
Germany and addressed those knuckleheads in English and the Germans said, “okay.” I guess they only get upset when we drive our SUVs or when we eat at McDonalds.
