Thank you Kathy,

What a great thread, US NAVY WAVES!! Okay!! I remember them well in the early 60s, strict rules, feminine uniforms (dress blues/whites), pride and mistique all rolled into one. The days of a very active USO for lonely sailors, great memories, we were proud for them too.

The days when wearing a uniform was a matter of pride, not embarassment or PC insanity, WAVES were sharp.

Good one.
