Wexler looks like he just swallowed a turd. Abd europeans cannot hate President Bush as much as I despise the parasite matthews [lower case on purpose] is.

I don’t understand why they don’t do more of that. “Of course Maliki agrees with Obama in removing American combat toops over the next couple of years if conditions allow. It’s already our policy. Of course the Generals in Afghanistan agree that we should send more troops in if requested. That too is our current policy. It looks like Obama is running for Bush press secretary rather than President!

Why isn’t Heather Wilson being considered for Vice President.

She is really impressive.

BINGO!

The Republicans are no longer a voice of conservatism in America. Juan McLame is the RINO poster child.

What’s needed are more folks like Wilson...prepared, skilled, logical, and unafraid to point out when the Emperor has no clothes.

It’s time to take back the country.

Absolutely agree with a previous poster...Where have they been HIDING this woman?

I took the liberty of dropping her a note of congratulations on her appearance, and told her I hope to see her as a rising star.

Definitely Republican Presidential Administration material!

Here’s her website:

I have always loved to watch her when she is on a roll!

Born in Keene, New Hampshire, Wilson joined the United States Air Force at the age of seventeen, graduating four years later as a Distinguished Graduate (magna cum laude equivalent) from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1982.[2] A Rhodes Scholar, she continued her education at Jesus College, Oxford University, earning a D.Phil.. in International Relations.[2]

Upon leaving the Air Force in 1989, Wilson became Director for European Defense Policy and Arms Control on the National Security Council. After leaving government, she founded Keystone International, Inc. in 1991 to promote business development in the United States and Russia. She was the Secretary of the New Mexico Children, Youth and Family Department.

Wilson is the first woman to represent New Mexico since Georgia Lusk in the 1940s, and is the second female veteran to be elected to Congress, the first being the Louisianan Democrat Catherine S. Long in 1985.[3][1]. In the House, she serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Select Committee on Intelligence.

From 1999 to 2000 she won several awards including the “Hero of the Taxpayer Award”(1999).

Since 2001, Congresswoman Wilson has been a member of the House Page Board, and is currently a member of the Congressional Missing and Exploited Children’s caucus.

Good post! And you are correct - - Wilson buried them.
If not for her crappy ACU rating, I would say she’s fit to be considered for VP.

That's the Heather Wilson of 5-10 years ago.... That I used to $upport heavily (even though I'm out of her district), but no longer do.

She has mostly turned into a leftish moderate squish since then.

Don't let one tough talk convince you that there is any 'there' there.

But you guys saying that she should be McCain's VP are right; "Birds of a feather, poke conservative eyes together".

I for one an very pleased that the politician she has become over the last few years is leaving the arena, and Thank God Steve Pearce, a GOOD, SOLID Conservative beat her in the primary.

That was pretty darn good, considering she probably didn't know what would be thrown at her. It's too bad so few Repub men have that kind of brains and spine.

She could have hammered him even worse, though. The success of the surge is the reason there will be more troops available for Afghanistan. Doesn't have squat to do with what messiah said , and anyway he will claim he didn't say it tomorrow.

Funny how the R candidates can turn squishy after too much time in that DC swamp air....then suddenly remember and defend their principles when they are no longer on the battlefield! Or like the 2 Bush’s who capitulated at the end.
