Network Won't Fire Michael Savage

Talk Radio Network, the syndicator of Michael Savage's "Savage Nation" radio show, issued the following statement today:

On Michael Savage's Autism Comments

There have been numerous calls in recent days for Michael Savage, who hosts “The Michael Savage Show” for Talk Radio Network (the “Network”), to be fired or suspended for his brief 84 seconds of commentary concerning autism during the July 16th broadcast of the Show.

Promptly after the Network’s management learned of the comments in issue, the Network commenced an investigation into the particulars and the circumstances of those comments. This investigation began with the Network’s CEO, Mark Masters, personally contacting Dr. Savage to address the concerns and obtain an explanation of the comments directly from Dr. Savage.

In that conversation, and other subsequent conversations between Mr. Masters and Dr. Savage, Dr. Savage explained the circumstances and intent of his statements in considerable detail. The Network also carefully monitored subsequent broadcasts of the Show, on Monday, July 21st and Tuesday, July 22nd, which were devoted to the subject of autism and further explanations by Dr. Savage of his views on the subject.

Weiner will never be known for having any class, and his fans carry the same ill trail.

Only a Weiner fan or an ounce of air plane glue can conclude that Weiner critics are liberals, in spite of a smoking gun.

The fundamental flaw with Weiner is his constant attacks on other Conservatives. When I first tuned into him, I was a fan for about 2 weeks (yes, I'm a slow learner). I must have been lucky to have missed his attacks on other Conservative talkers at that time, because after a while, I would hear him attack other Conservatives as much as his attacks on "borders, language, culture", Islamofascism, etc.

Then I would notice his inconsistencies in his statements. He would completely contradict himself from day to day. I soon realized that this guy has a real mental problem and an embarrassment to hard core Conservatives like myself.

Probably a good percentage of his listeners are like "rubber neckers" just staring at an accident as they go by.

Another certain percentage of his listeners are real fans who place him on an unjustified pedestal. Some of them are so consumed by their devotion to Weiner that they employ the same classless traits.

I don’t like to insult anybody and I know FreeRepublic frowns on it. It is just frustrating. Occasionally I run into Freepers so dense or so uninformed, it is just frustrating. They try your patience.

Lormand however is not just 'anybody', he led a failed campaign to get the Savage thread kicked off FreeRepublic, he's no different than the fascists from the Left that campaign to get Savage thrown off the air, only he's a fascist from the right. Lormand responds better to insults than to informed reasoning as you can see from his subsequent posts because he works in reverse, the more informed he gets, the more 'dense' he becomes. I don't take him seriously anymore, he's good for the occasional recreational useless tit for tat banter that comes up whenever the issue of Savage comes up on FreeRepublic other than on the daily talkradio Savage thread.

I see infatuation in your comments, but I'm not flattered. The obvious thing for anyone to notice is how you can't post anything on your own, and must have another Weiner fan's hand to hold when posting regarding me. Does your mommy have an account too? Perhaps she can also help provide cover (and hot pockets) for you? I understand why you are not confident enough in your own words when defending something as hard to defend as Weiner. If that brings you comfort, then it is obvious that it is not enough. Do you have a bigger ping list when responding to me. Be my guest and ping other Weiner fans if you like. You need all the help you can get as you can see. Going one on one is not your "style" I guess.

I welcome insults from you and other Weiner fans, as it galvanizes everything I say about Weiner and the sychphantic clapping seals that make up much of his fan base. Since a Weiner fan must defend all of the campaign cash to California liberals, the flip-flopping of foreign policy views, the name calling of other conservative talk show hosts, the socialists view of having a minimum wage....etc, I can understand why one would resort to name calling.

Most of all, I love the Zotting and banned accounts from all the bait I throw at unhinged wackos who frequent Weiner threads. Thinking that forums are like radio shows, the Weiner fan uses the same classless tacts of Weiner and start screaming insults and unpleasantness toward those they oppose. It doesn't work against those who see right through that faux conservative Weiner.
