hypocrisy:

1. a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.
2. a pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude.

Edwards isn’t a public champion of strict fidelity, so I don’t see the hypocrisy charge. Doing something that you know is wrong is not hypocritical, it’s just a failing.

So, Edwards is a failure at more than politics, that’s all.

Yeah, but all those women who watched Elizabeth on TV talking about her battle with cancer might not take to kindly to the thought that he's schtupping the sexy blonde while his wife is likely dying.
