Gores to host Obama fundraiser Nashville | July 24, 2008 12:01:13 AM IST
Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore is preparing to host a Nashville fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, say officials.
A spokeswoman for Gore, has confirmed that Al and Tipper Gore have agreed to the event although a date and location have not been set, nor even whether Obama himself would attend, The Tennessean, a Nashville newspaper, reported Wednesday.
Wade Munday, a spokesman for the Tennessee Democratic Party, said we would certainly welcome the senator with open arms should he arrive in Nashville before the October debate at Belmont University, the newspaper said.
Republicans however dismissed the news, with spokesman Bill Hobbs suggesting an Obama visit would make very little difference in Tennessee.
(He) can fire up the liberals, as we know, but he's just not very popular in Tennessee with ran-and-file Democrats, Hobbs told The Tennessean. It'll be interesting to see if he even remembers how to get to Tennessee.
That’s right... a big, loud F___ YOU! to the Clintons.

Will it be “carbon neutral” for our precious earth?
No more b.s. “carbon credits” for the Goreacle — I want to see them hold the even without air conditioning, or lights, or any other electrical convenience. Guests must arrive on foot. Even then there will be all sorts of carbon contributions to the atmosphere for the (manufacture of) clothes worn, food and beverages consumed, utensils and glassware, the materials in the home itself, etc. etc.
But I’ll be happy to applaud the Goreacle’s eco-dedication and consciousness if he will simply abide by the suggestions above!!!
it will be
brain neutral too,
as most democrat-socialist mental events.
The Democrats are pompous fools.
Watch out, Budhist nuns! Here comes the “no controlling legal authority” guy!
The Kiss-O-Death endorsement. lol
Obama will be available for the nest 8 to 10 years for speeches in any of the 57 states.........as head of the Senate banking committee he doesn’t have a seat on......
