BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel is an admirer of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama -- even though she has not yet met him in person.
Asked at a news conference on Wednesday what she thought of Obama, Merkel responded: "I would say that he is well-equipped -- physically, mentally and politically."
Obama is due to meet with Merkel for about an hour on Thursday morning and will later give a speech on transatlantic relations at the "Victory Column" in Berlin's Tiergarten park.
Merkel objected to initial plans by the Obama campaign to hold the speech at the Brandenburg Gate. His appearance is expected to draw tens of thousands of Germans, who polls show prefer him to his Republican challenger John McCain.

She’s been “Obamatized” like too many others.

Merkel seems to have the same fascination with the mulatto Mephistopheles as Leni Reifenstahl and many of the German people had with Jessie Owens. Only difference is that Jessie had substance and was a champion instead of an affirmative action metrosexual messiah.

Obe doesn’t seem fit philosophically to be PPrez as he doesn’t seem to value the US Constitution as historically derived. He may be fit to surrender German sovereignty and culture, but not similar for the US. He doesn’t speak for me.

What is she supposed to say? She would have said the exact same thing if she had been asked about McCain. Obama could be the next president of the United States. Affronting him now would be very stupid of her. She needs good relations with the US, no matter who is president.
Considering this, it is quite amazing that she nevertheless snubbed him by not letting him speak at the Brandenburg gate. Normally I am not such a big fan of hers, but that one time she made me a little proud of our chancellor ;-)

I’m not kidding about believing he is the antichrist. And I don’t even believe in there actually being an antichrist.
