Got a screen capture of the Committee
membership , as of today. By tomorrow, Obama might be made a member so as to cover up for the resume-padding, clueless, jaw-dropping gaffe.

Oh, neither is Obama on any Subcommittees .

“No, he misspoke”
He seemed to go out of the way to make that false point. Emphasized it. It wasn’t a slip of the tongue.

I'm starting to think that Obama has to have the "monitor" or the "piece of paper" because he has a VERY deficient memory.
One of those guys who wrote stuff all over his body when he had to take an exam.

If it was just the “we passed” thing that would seem normal. “We” as in democrats. Or “we” as in he was involved a lot in the discussions due to his presidential run or whatever.
But when he adds the “which is my committee” - when it isn't....well, the guy is just deluded.

Like Hillary’s Bosnia “gaffe.” Both pathological liars. Obama has diarrhea of the mouth and can’t help himself.

People need to be a little bit more understanding about all of this.
With only a few months of walking around time on the Senate floor before he started his 100%-all-the-time campaign, he likely didn't know which Senate committees he was a junior member of and probably never showed up for any meetings anyway.
It is perfectly understandable if he's a bit confused. We should get off his case. It's not like anybody expected anything of him up there or like he has the gravitas of Teddy Kennedy, Chuck Shumer, Leahy, Reid, or any of the other dozens of worthies who infest that Chamber.
On the contrary. It's a bright mark on your resume if you don't hang around that place! Besides, he's running for President - not Senator. "Senator" was only his temporary job and he showed good sense by not ever showing up.
Sheesh! Get a life, People!

Give the guy a break. He’s probably still a little rattled from all that sniper fire he took in Kosovo.
Oh, wait a minute... Never mind.

Need to cut him some sack. After all he's just an affirmative action “feel good” creature to give liberals a sense of self satisfaction and superiority. He doesn't need a brain.

My opinion of Senator Obama is that he was a likable kid, guy, man who really is a will’o the wisp. He married a beautiful woman, has two gorgeous daughters and it was all about him. He doesn't have a record in Illinois (except for that amazing vote against medical aid to survivors of abortion), he hasn't served on any plum committees in the Senate, he has never voted on any substantial bills BUT he has learned to flash his beautiful smile and get by on conversations about “horses and roses”.
He had a lot of time to ponder himself as a kid. He had no strong “father” figure and he made a world of his own where he could be whatever he wanted to be. I'm sure he's optimistic, charming, verbose, and did I mention his smile?
What he will be as POTUS is ineffective. He will always see both sides of the debate and he will never be able to decide who is right. He's sacrificed his own opinions to make his dream come true — he wants to be the first American Black President — he'll leave the details of what he accomplishes to his handlers who will tell him what to think and what to push because he only wants to show the world how wonderful he is.
There's nothing wrong with any of it, if he were just a guy who wants to work in not-for-profit charities. The problem lies in that his decisions will affect the world. As the saying goes, “When America sneezes, the rest of the world catches cold.”
