How many times have YOU hit pedestrians in your convertible and not noticed it?
This will just add to Novak’s “street credibility” as the prince of darkness. Remember when Vice-President Cheney accidentally shot his friend? The libs have been scared of Cheney ever since.
I woul;dn’t bet a damned donut! I’ll tell you one thing I wouldn’t have strolled away from the cruiser with a citation!
Don’t bet me wrong . . I might have done the same thing if I had panicked afterward. But I do think he is lying.
This is clearly a case for the “Body Language Segment” on the O’Reilly Factor.

I must be missing them. I don't see any marks on the hood of his car. Where do you see them?
None. That I know of. ;)
As a point of reference, Jack Cafferty’s 2003 hit-and-run netted him a $250 fine, 70 hours of community service, and he bought the guy a new bike.
You can always tell the DC natives and close-by commuters from tourists. To those of us who live here, traffic lights don’t mean a thing. Honest.
Bicyclist Bono’s employer, Harkins Cunningham, is a law firm....
My first choice would have been Joe Wilson & Valerie Plame (okay that's two).
Do we have actual video of the impact?

Robert NovakTMZ just spoke with Robert Novak, and one thing is clear..... National Public Radio is extremely hazardous to pedestrians, especially the one he mowed down in D.C. this morning.
Novak tells us he was listening to NPR in his Corvette when suddenly, “Some guy came up and hit my car with his fist. I figured I had done something that had created road rage, but I didn’t know what it was. Then a bicyclist blocked the road in front of me. I asked what the problem was. He said, ‘You can’t just hit people and run away.’”
Novak says the cops came, put in “briefly” in the back of the police car and asked about what he heard at the time of impact. Novak told them and reiterated to us, he didn’t hear anything and didn’t feel anything. They asked if he had been drinking or on a cellphone and he answered “no” to both.
Novak, who was citied for failing to yield, says he won’t fight the ticket, adding, “I assume witnesses are telling the truth.”
And we asked him about his comments back in 2001, that he hates jaywalkers and thunk about running the over. To that he told us, “I’ve said a lot of things I shouldn’t have said.”
As for reports that he’s an aggressive driver, he says, “I’m 77 years old. I’m not aggressive anymore.”
And finally, driving a vette. “I’ve been driving Corvettes since 1961.” Ride on.
Novak: Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign
Okay somebody help me out with my memory. During the 2000 runoff debacle, a reporter (I can’t remember who) hit someone with their car. I think it happened in Tallahassee. Who was it?
77 year-old man + Aggressive driving + Corvette = Disaster waiting to happen.
Wow. That guy's everywhere!
