I’m not trying to be dogmatic but is is true that this is the first year the Cup cars has tar trouble at Indy?

I agree about the testing.

What about the concept of running two Cup races at Pocono? That is a boring track if there ever was one.

Maybe the Indy-500 should be run on Memorial Day like it used.

So far as I know. I might be wrong.

Indy is the bigger race. It shouldn't have to move. Plus, if you run Charlotte on Saturday, it allows both tracks a chance to reschedule in case of rain out. A more sensible solution, in my mind, is to move the Indy time back to 11:00, as it used to be, and run Charlotte on Saturday. A rain out on Saturday could allow the race to be moved to Sunday with a start time of, say, 7:00 p.m., which would still allow drivers to run both races if necessary.

Moving Indy to Monday presents rain problems.
