Maybe the Indy-500 should be run on Memorial Day like it used.
Indy is the bigger race. It shouldn't have to move. Plus, if you run Charlotte on Saturday, it allows both tracks a chance to reschedule in case of rain out. A more sensible solution, in my mind, is to move the Indy time back to 11:00, as it used to be, and run Charlotte on Saturday. A rain out on Saturday could allow the race to be moved to Sunday with a start time of, say, 7:00 p.m., which would still allow drivers to run both races if necessary.
