Yup, particularly the theater department. A production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar at my school saw one actor accidently cut off the tip of the nose of another actor while waving an unfortunately real saber around. I lost a race to the cafeteria to get a bucket of ice to store the nose in - someone else ran faster than I did. But the dude's nose was successfully sewn back on.
I did that once, just to spite my face.
But seriously folks....my dog had his nose cut off when he was a puppy...How does he smell, you ask?
