Abe Lincoln attended no school after 3rd grade, and I’m sure there were others, too.

More interesting things about Lincoln - I watched a cspan thing about the parallels between him, congress and the civil war, and GW, congress and the war on terror. VERY interesting. For instance, Lincoln took tremendous executive powers during that war and was the first to suspend habaeus corpus for pow’s - he was also vilified and extremely unpopular for his actions and decisions that he deemed necessary for the country at the time. And once again, look at how history ultimately judged him. It was a real eye-opener.

It takes real courage to be a leader who loves your country and will stand by your actions and beliefs despite the slings and arrows, to do what you think is best for your country. NOT a job for just anyone.

For sure. Look what happened to Czar Nicholas II, Adolf Hitler, Nicolai/Elena Ceauchescu, etc.
