Romney moves up as Potential McCain VP
NPR ^ | July 20 | Ron Elving

Once upon a time, people who wanted to be president were not expected to admit it in public. This mask of false indifference had to be dropped when the rise of primaries forced candidates to campaign actively for the office.

Blacks have been baptized into the Mormon Church since 1832. The Priesthood was allowed to go to all men in 1978. Two different things.
___________________________________________________

Why the 150 year difference when Jesus died for ALL men and women 2,000 years ago ?????

Jhn 3:15 That WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life John 3:15, 16

Jesus said WHOSOEVER, not “whoever is white and delightsome”

Also ...

...The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

What were the mormons doing looking at a man’s skin and judging him, until 1978, if God, Himself, did not ???

The problem is that REAL Americans support capitalism and competition,
and not the fascism and socialized medicine IMPOSED by Dictator Romney.

Let's let Romney ruin the GOP nationally, as he has in Massachusetts. [/s]

"Proven leader. Mitt couldn't take on your average drunk, toothless, high school educated Mass politician.
They ran rings around him. His governorship was a non entity. It was if he was never here. "

Actually, Romney wiped out the Massachusetts GOP.
This is a warning to those who support RINOs, everywhere.

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to New Hampshire Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”

- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
“Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,”
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

- Boston Globe, 11/8/2006

What’s your point? Do you also think women are not allowed into the Kingdom of God because they can’t preach in Church, according to Paul?

Yup, it actually did. Massachusetts once was one of the most Republican states in the nation. It died under *omney’s “care.”

Hey, who has the newspaper quote of the last rites from November 2006 ?

Absolutely, Massachusetts had a strong GOP until Romney (the DNC's wet dream)
sacked it, and put in Deval Patrick.

One of two things is true: Either you don't know what in the heck you're talking about, or you're a bald-faced liar.

You forgot number three...on the Romney payroll.

William F. Buckley is dead. Which you’ve been corrected on repeatedly. Of course, he’s not nearly as stone-cold dead as the corpse of the MA GOP *omney buried.

Romney's not going to introduce national healthcare.

Romney unveils national healthcare plan

By Steven Thomma | McClatchy Newspapers

WASHINGTON — Presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Friday will propose doing for the country what he did as governor of Massachusetts — helping the uninsured get health insurance — while also working to curb soaring health care costs even for those with coverage.

``We're going to make health insurance affordable. We're going to get on track to have every citizen insured. And we're going to reduce the rate of growth in health care spending,'' Romney said in an exclusive interview with McClatchy Newspapers previewing the proposal that he'll unveil Friday in a speech to the Florida Medical Association.

>>>>> ... trust me.

No way!

Among Republicans, McCain is currently polling well below the 90+ percent that Bush43 garnered in two extremely close elections --- 2000 and 2004. That is the "conservative" factor and its hurting McCain badly. Adding Romney to his ticket will not draw in more conservatives. It will have the opposite effect leaving many hardcore conservatives with nothing but a protest vote on election day. Whether that be a vote for a third party candidate like Barr or Baldwin, with other conservatives simply staying home or passing on that ballot line choice.

We're in agreement about the Obama factor. In the end, it will probably be the major deciding factor in my voting for McCain. Taking Romney will make that decision more difficult, however.

I didn't see Romney as a center-right Governor or fiscally responsible. And on social issues, he sucks. Romney made a lot of money for himself. BFD! Romney is a total fraud and a phony to boot. A liberal to his core.

LOL. You are barking up the wrong tree. Keep trying.

2 Nephi 26: 33 ...He inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

You’ve been schooled on that repeatedly. Even your bots have been forced to concede that is correct.

Massachusetts voted for Reagan twice.

Massachusetts voted “R” for Governor over “D’s” for most of its history, ditto that for U.S. Senator and Congress. The MA GOP was 4 seats away from control of the State Senate in the early 1990s and held 3 seats out of 10 in the House and was competitive for other seats. The MA GOP held 5 statewide offices. Today it is ZERO. Zero statewide. Zero federal. And barely 10% of the legislature (down from 40% in the 1990s).

Today, we aren’t competitive for any major state or federal race in MA.

But, hey, don’t let truth get in the way of your pro-Slick propaganda.

I think they can know Romney’s going to be the choice whether they like it or not.
