Once upon a time, people who wanted to be president were not expected to admit it in public. This mask of false indifference had to be dropped when the rise of primaries forced candidates to campaign actively for the office.

New Hampshire (Romney's neighboring state): Sen McCain won. Romney = Loser.
California (Romney's newest state; he moved to La Jolla, fleeing Massachusetts): Sen McCain won. Romney = Loser.
Florida: Sen McCain won. Romney = Loser.
Georgia: Huckabee won. Romney = Loser.
There, fixed it for you.
In fact, that is a bit like Romney who told his BOTs to 'promise anything', is it not?
Romney: "Hit the phones today make all the promises you have to,
and
make sure that we get the funds that we need to keep on
propelling this campaign forward with power and energy."
Have a great day.
LOL
I missed that one.
So when I see GOP primary voters in New Hampshire say that Romney is very conservative, by 43% to 3% over Fred Thompson, I say something is seriously wrong with those GOP voters. Again, they either don't know what conservatism is all about or they're not conservatives in the true sense of the word. Same goes for Michigan --- 48% to 8% --- and Florida --- 44% to 1% --- respectively.
Anyone with half a brain knows full well, that Fred Thompson's political career shows a solid conservative record on most issues. The complete opposite of Mitt Romney's political career. At this point, you aren't fooling anyone with such idiocy.

List the black folks, men or women, who are in the 70 or the 12...
Or who have ever been in the 70 or the 12...
Or a bishop over a large number of white and delightsome mormons ??????
McCain got ‘moderates and amnesty favoring Hispanics’.
Yeah, and I’ll real comfortable that Mitt Romney will aggressively go after the illegals and shut all that down. Yeah, right. Romney is just another politician, changes his positions and ‘core’ as the wind blows, and he’ll be seen as just another old school sell-out during a time that could be very be challenging economically for many in the American populace. Romney is a stiff, he powder-puffed his way through the primaries until he was defeated, and only then gave an aggressive speech featuring concepts and thought that might get legitimate Americans interested in voting for him. Sorry, Mitt. You were more concerned with walking on eggshells and ‘not offending’ anyone, and you got blown out, and now, we don’t trust you.
Romney could be the king of Africa.
What you say has much merit. None of it addresses my post to you, but it does have merit.
Oh, so exit poll internals are all wrong. How convenient, because either the exit polls are wrong or you are wrong about Romney being a liberal. You have to dismiss the evidence, based on everybody knows that exit polls are wrong. Do you really believe that Romney's support came from liberals rather than conservatives, because there is more evidence than just these exit polls?
You then point out that McCain won these primaries, with liberal Republicans and Democrat crossovers, thus proving my point. If the primaries were limited to conservatives, Romney would be the nominee. Were all these conservatives fooled?
OK, I guess I just wanted to make my points......
Did the exit polls ask the voters how "conservative" Romney was?
“OK, I guess I just wanted to make my points......”
And you made them well. One of the best posts I’ve seen on the thread, for or against.
Mormon populations in Africa is exploding

What a pity those “mormon populations in Africa” cannot vote in the United States....
Thanks for clearing this up, obviously, all these very conservative GOP primary voters are hoodwinked fools!! From now on I'll get all the political wisdom I need from Romney-loathers at FR.
Do try to keep up.
There are about 400,000 black Mormons in the world today; about 250,000 in Africa, and the rest scattered throughout North America, Brazil, and the Caribean. There have been black Mormons since 1832, two years after the “Mormon Church” was founded.
