I think they could go quite some time without any food, at all.

Love the caption:

“Angelica Hernandez (left) and her mother, Gloria Nunez, struggle to make ends meet on a very limited budget”

They sure as hell are eating well I’d say. You could make about 4 to 5 people from the two of them.

Meat may be out of reach, but Chocolate, Cheetos and high fat products don’t seem to be. What clown uses these whales as evidence of folks going hungry.

You would think they would have gotten some skinny poor people if they were going to run a hit piece on the economy. Credibility is lacking here!

This is why the buffoons at NPR are the laughing stock of the BIG media industry. Did anyone bother to check out the accompanying photo? Geeesh!

For Some Ohioans, Even Meat Is Out Of Reach

Yeah. THEY ATE IT ALL.

Hubby said meat is out of their reach because they’ve eaten it all. ;) No cows left in Hancock, Wood, Seneca or Sandusky County.

Low-income families in Ohio say they are particularly hard-hit by the changes in the economy,

As a relatively lower-income person who actually works for a living and who receives absolutely no government assistance at all, I find this, shall we say, questionable.

Someone who lives in subsidized housing, eats free food supplied by the government, who has no job but gets paid by the government anyway, is NOT as hard-hit as people who actually work for a living are. Not even remotely.

Try actually paying a crushing tax burden, getting no EITC, no welfare, no food stamps, no free housing. I'll show you "hard hit."

Infuriating.

Why is it that most immigrant Asians are not obese or looking for govt. handouts? Most Asians don’t go around either marching or yelling about their rights being treaded on. Asians may not be over friendly but they sure are productive and contribute peacefully to society!

Fat man walks up to a skinny man and says “By the looks of you there has been a famine around here.”
The skinny man looks at the fat man and replies “By the looks of you, it must have been caused by you”.
