If said that he could help McCain win the election, that would be untrue. He is politically tone-deaf. McCain can't win the election with a message like "we are becoming a nation of whiners".
Phil G. knows more about the economics of this country then most current experts because he has the benefit of a historical perspective.
The comment he made should be considered to be absolutely true, assuming you include the proper perspective in which he said it. He was not calling the nation a whiner, he was calling the nations congressional leadership, mostly democrats and some supportive pundit A'holes in the media and on Wall Street a bunch of whiners. Which, coincidently, they certainly are.
The comment arises from the witch hunt for evil speculators and dastardly Corporations that Congress is currently engaged in so that they may deflect criticisms against themselves, the true culprits behind the mortgage and commodity bubbles that are damaging the economy.
The whiners are anyone who buys into that distorted logic and is pushing fear like a drug pusher.
McCain is a total idiot and a failure as a candidate. He will not be getting my support, nor the support of any rational American.
Jimmuh Carter II is benefiting from his continued idiocy and will ascend to the throne where he will finish Jimuh's work. Of this, there is no question.
Ya'all have a nice day!
