Riling Muslim leaders, one of John McCain's fellow Vietnam POWs defended the Iraq War Friday by saying, ``The Muslims have said either we kneel or they're going to kill us.''
''I don't intend to kneel and I don't advocate to anybody that we kneel. And John doesn't advocate to anybody that we kneel,'' Col. Bud Day added in a conference call with reporters arranged by the Republican Party of Florida on behalf on McCain.
Muslims and Arab-American groups quickly denounced what they described as the ''bigoted'' comments from Day, a Pensacola resident, Medal of Honor recipient and member of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth attack machine from 2004.
''This is as close to racist as it gets. These are cheap street tactics,'' said Khaled Saffuri, who helped organize Arab outreach for President Bush's 2000 campaign but is now a Libertarian. ``Even if this is called a mistake or a slip of the tongue, it shows a bigger problem with racism. McCain and the Republican party should denounce this.''

Yes, and the Moslems were dancing and celebrating in Patterson and Newark, NJ on that day.
My brother-in-law is a retired NJ cop. He was called back on duty that day to cover the riots by the Moslems in those cities, because virtually all the active duty NJ policemen were sent to New York to help the NYCPD.
Because he’s a professional policeman, he did not bust up any Moslem’s, but he was extremely upset by their celebration when the towers fell.
Mussie scum alert!
Col. Bud Day BUMP!
Attack machine my ass.....Truth Squad would be the correct term.
The last straw will be if McCain throws Bud Day under the bus. Most folks will be voting against Obama an not for McCain anyway. McCain is politically a POS so let’s see what happens.
Given the sorts of nasty stuff about killing the infidel that the Quran contains, I'm inclined to agree, but I would add that not all Muslims are terrorists, though the majority of terrorists who have attacked U.S. citizens and interests in recent history have been Muslim, and their religious beliefs have played a significant if not overbearing role in their motivation to and methods of attack.
He said what we all know. This is a worldwide war against Muslims - each and every one - not just so-called “fundamentalist Islam” or terrorists. We have to kill the 1B Muslims in this entire world- every one, in order for America to survive. They all think the same because they all have the same religious book and the center. When their brethren kill in the name of their religion, where are their complaints? Now when Christians in Serbia where ethnically cleansing ethnic Albanians, I heard almost all Christians denouncing that behavior, didn’t you?
Some would say that taking the fight to 1B people is not appropriate- but they are the politically correct zealots who run things today. Take it from a genuine war hero in Bud Day- all Muslims, wherever they are, whether they wish America peace or ill, are the enemy.
Ummmm... no, I don't think so.
