The Wall Street Journal reports that Carly Fiorina, former Hewlett-Packard CEO and senior adviser to Sen. John McCain, met with a group of 25 prominent supporters and fundraisers for Sen. Hillary Clinton at a private home in Westchester County, NY. The group included several so-called "Hillraisers," each of whom have raised in excess of $100,000 for Clinton's failed primary campaign. The meeting was repeatedly sought by the Hillary supporters and is at least the second such meeting between backers of Clinton and the McCain campaign.
An organizer of the meeting, Amy Siskind, said that the pro-Hillary groups represented pledged to help deliver, "hundreds of thousands and maybe millions of votes," to McCain if the groups find areas of agreement between themselves and his campaign.

Maybe they want Hillary to be McCain’s VP. Just when you think things can’t get any worse...
Oh please. Don’t get that far off track...
It’s simple, if Obama wins Hillary is out in 2012, and that effectively ends her career of plundering the American landscape. So her supporters are naturally McCain supporters.
It might not mean they will support McCain, though. I think they simply try to force Obama to pick her as his VP.
Do they want McCain folks to help raise money for Clinton to retire her campaign debt?
Do you think Obama would run again for president in 2012 if he loses this Fall?
A loser former CEO is involved? I feel so comforted.
What areas are they thinking they will find agreement? Boilerplate libs will find much more in common with Obama than McCain. This sounds like sour grapes. These stupid libs need to learn how to lose with grace.
BINGO! We have a winner
I had the same thought...and here I was hoping for Mitt Romney at the very least. Doubt McCain is that unwise.
McCain can be bought at any price.
Birds of a feather flock together !
It's more like the fact that even some Democrats are realizing that putting a man as far-left radical as Barack Obama in the White House would be a disaster for America but some self-proclaimed "conservatives" see nothing wrong with helping Obama become Commander-in-Chief.
Do you love America more than you hate John McCain?
You're right. If Obama wins, the Clintons are out forever. If McCain wins, in four years we'll have Clinton.
I don't know in this case. I see a certain Machiavellian logic here.
If elected, odds are McCain is a one termer. The HildaBeast has a chance at the DIM nomination in 2012 if the incumbent is a Republican. An incumbent DIM (Barry) is just about guaranteed the nomination. 2012 is her last shot.
I don't see anything positive for Hillary in helping Obama get elected.

Well I am of the opinion it has more to do with more centrist Democrats are seeing the hard core left take over the party and are looking at Juan McCain as closer to their viewpoints than Obama is.
