You’ve got that right. We told the UN to pee up a rope.
Dear Mexico,
I realize that you have problems with the death penalty in Texas, and I understand your desire to preserve the life of our citizen. However, in the future, please inform your citizens who are inclined to commit rape and murder that the penalty for such in the state of Texas is death, and that they’ll find a suite at the Hague, Netherlands, far more compatible with your country’s philosophy of protesting the death penalty.
In short, simple English, emigrate to the Netherlands. I don’t care if your citizens do it legally or illegally. That’s a problem for the Dutch. But if your citizens are going to come to our country they better behave because we aren’t as “civilized” as the Dutch when it comes to punishing rapists and murderers.
Now, I don’t live in Texas, but I wish I did.
Kind regards,
Coconutt2000
Stick him............next !!
I’ve gotten so used to lunacy that after reading the lead-in, I fully expected to find that the execution had been called off! Thank God for at least a few people with both testicles and common sense.
Ms Cleveland appear to be a little dense on the issue. If "everyone" agreed on the clarity of that legal "obligation" we'd hardly be having this conversation, now would we?
Other states may trust us to obey our obligations to our own citizens by enforcing laws intended to protect them. Those include the death penalty for murder. Imaginary obligations to some international body to conform our justice system to their precepts come in a distant second place.
I hear ya. I was in Texas after the hurricane for a couple months.
There's a lot of people in Louisiana who will never forget the tremendous help Texas gave us (even many idiots who didn't deserve or appreciate it) after the hurricane.
Texans - best people on the planet.
In other words they have no authority unless we give it to them.
Liberals are always on the side of the wicked, pretending to be nicer than God. The thief on the cross was alot smarter than they are! He admitted he belonged there, and that Jesus didn’t. He sided with Good.
Which is why he is in Paradise and they are going to be damned.
Hey, Mexico, any of your er...folks (legal or illegal) come here and rape or murder are going to by-God face Texas justice. At the end of a rope, the business end of a gun, or a needle. It's no matter and no difference to us.
You don't like it...then stay the hell away. Take your business to the Hague for all we care.
S’actly! See my post 71.
Welcome to Texas justice. And as a bonus, proudly gives the World Court the middle finger. :D
That’s where I stand. I’m against the death penalty, but this would be the wrong time to stop IMHO.
I expect the World Court Army will be landing any day now to enforce the order...
Yea, ‘ol Rick sucks at a lot of things but, standing up for the DP and the Castle doctrine are two of his good points.
Double Bump for Rick.
No! They would give him a martyrs funeral and the press would go on for days about the evil Americans and their disrespect for human rights.
No, I think we should juice him up, light him up and then spread the ashes in the nearest landfill.
But then thats just me.
He one hillarious MoFo...as Gov. Perry would put it.
